Pressed for oil
Sesame oil keeps a long, stable shelf life and a delicate flavour, which is why oil millers buy it year-round.
Millyseconds · Sesame seed exporter · Pakistan
A sesame seeds exporter and bulk supplier working one crop properly. Eighteen tonnes per shipment in 15 KG kraft bags, on board within 15 to 20 days.
These are the terms we quote against. Packing is fixed at 15 KG. If you need a different quantity or incoterm, put it in your enquiry and we will price it.
The arithmetic behind a standard lot, so you can check it against your own container plan before asking for a price.
Kraft bag, stitched and stencilled with commodity, origin and net weight.
Bags in a full standard lot, palletised or floor-loaded to your instruction.
One 20-foot container, weight-loaded rather than volume-loaded.
On board at the port of loading. Freight, insurance and import clearance sit with you.
Pick whichever suits your bank. Both are quoted at the same price.
The advance confirms the lot and starts procurement. The balance falls due against shipping documents by telegraphic transfer.
Opened through a reputable bank, workable and free of restrictive clauses. Send us the draft text before you open it and we will check it against the terms above.
Sesamum indicum is among the oldest cultivated oilseeds, grown across Asia and Africa for thousands of years and still valued for the same three things: a nutty flavour, a stable oil, and a good nutritional profile. Pakistan's dry autumn harvest suits it well — the capsules split open in the field and the crop is cut and sun-dried before threshing.
Hulled white sesame is the grade that travels furthest. Removing the outer hull leaves a pale, clean, mild-tasting seed that bakers and confectioners can put straight on a product without it dominating. That same lack of hull is why purity and moisture control matter more here than on any other sesame grade — there is nothing left to hide a defect behind.
We ship hulled white as our standard line. If your formulation calls for one of the others, ask and we will quote it.
| Variety | Colour | Flavour | Typical use | Oil content |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| White, hulled | Ivory, pale | Mild, faintly sweet | Bakery topping, confectionery, tahini | High |
| White, unhulled | Cream to tan | Nuttier, more assertive | Oil pressing, health food, whole-seed retail | High |
| Black | Dark brown to black | Stronger, slightly bitter | East Asian cooking, black sesame oil, garnish | Moderate to high |
Origin, seed size, moisture and processing all move the grade. Two lots labelled "white sesame" are not the same product — always buy against a written specification.
Most of our enquiries come from one of these five directions.
Sesame oil keeps a long, stable shelf life and a delicate flavour, which is why oil millers buy it year-round.
The hulled white seed is the standard topping on buns, flatbreads and crackers — it toasts evenly and stays pale.
Halva, sesame snaps and laddoo all depend on the seed's fat content for texture as much as taste.
A Middle Eastern staple, and increasingly a Western one. Tahini buyers are the strictest on colour and bitterness.
Stir-fries, salads, sushi, dressings. Small volumes, high visual expectations.
Clean-label demand drives Europe; traditional sweets and flatbreads drive the Gulf; sesame oil keeps it a pantry staple across Asia.
Seven steps between the standing crop and a sealed container. Nothing goes to export packing until the lab result is back.
Cut and sun-dried plants are threshed to separate seed from pod.
Dust, stems, stones and other foreign matter are removed mechanically.
The outer hull is taken off to produce the pale, mild hulled white grade.
Graded by size and colour so the lot arrives uniform, not merely clean.
Moisture is brought down and held there — the single biggest factor in shelf life and mould risk.
Each batch is sampled and tested before it is released for packing.
Filled into food-grade bags, tagged, sealed, and stuffed under clean loading conditions.
A recall costs more than a container. Every batch is screened before release, and the certificate of analysis travels with the documents.
Screened per batch. Tell us your destination limit and we will confirm the lot meets it before shipment.
Checked against the standard applicable to your import market.
Part of the standard batch panel.
Screened before release, with results stated on the CoA.
Specified per lot and verified on the CoA rather than promised in general terms.
Held cool and dry, protected from humidity and pests, with fast transit to the port after stuffing.
If your buyer or auditor requires a specific accredited laboratory or an additional parameter, name it in the enquiry and we will arrange the test.
We pack in a single format. It keeps the count predictable, the stencilling consistent and the loading fast.
Food-grade kraft paper, stitched closed. The only packing we ship.
Exactly 18 MT net to a 20-foot container, with no part bags to reconcile at your end.
Commodity, origin and net weight on every bag. Your own marks and lot codes can be added — send artwork with the order.
Each bag sealed and tagged before stuffing, palletised or floor-loaded as your discharge port requires.
Price is the easy part of a sesame contract. Paperwork is where shipments actually get stuck, so ask any supplier for this list before you send an advance.
Batch-specific, stating purity, moisture and the safety panel.
Issued by the plant protection authority for the shipment.
Confirming Pakistan origin for your customs entry.
With the commercial invoice, this is the set the 70% balance is paid against.
Sesame seeds. Check the duty and any preferential rate that applies at your end.
Appoint an inspection agency at loading if your buyer requires it.
We are not a general trading house. Sesame is the whole business, which is why the specification on this page is this precise.
Sorting and moisture control are set to deliver the same seed on the second container as the first.
From a single 18 MT container to repeat monthly programmes under contract.
Buying from the exporter means transparent pricing, faster answers and one party accountable for the lot.
Our team prepares the export set and walks your side through clearance if it is your first Pakistan shipment.
If a crop is short or a moisture spec is not achievable in a given month, we will say so before you open an LC.
Buy against a written specification from a licensed exporter, not against a price quoted on a phone call. Agree the commodity, purity, moisture, packing, incoterm and payment terms in a proforma invoice first. For steady requirements we also write contract supply agreements that fix the specification across several shipments.
Traceability from crop to container, batch-specific certificates rather than generic ones, and an exporter who answers awkward questions directly. If a supplier will not give you a moisture figure in writing before shipment, that tells you something.
No. Origin, seed size, moisture, hulling method and sorting all change the grade and the price. Ask for the full specification and compare like with like — a 99% purity lot and a 99.97% lot are different products.
Cool, dry, off the floor, away from humidity and protected from pests. Hermetically sealed or lined packaging holds condition longest. The hulled grade has no hull to protect it, so storage discipline matters more than with unhulled seed.
An exporter ships overseas and handles the customs and documentation that go with it; a supplier may only serve the domestic market. We do both, so the same lot can go to a local mill or onto a vessel.
Yes. The price on this page is FOB. Give us your discharge port in the enquiry and we will quote CFR or CIF against it.
Yes. Tell us the destination address in your enquiry and we will send a sample of the current lot with its certificate of analysis so you can test it against your own specification.
